Since the VPM server cannot access the customers M3 environment, functions must be run in the Desktop Client. There are two different installers for the client. A one-click installer and a standalone installer

The one-click installer for the VXL Desktop Client can be downloaded from https://vpm.vincesoftware.org/VXLApplication/publish.htm

Installation process

Go to https://vpm.vincesoftware.org/VXLApplication/publish.htm and click "Install". Select run application if it is not started automatically.

Once the setup starts a popup is shown. Click "Install"

Once the installation is complete, it will be started. On some Windows versions a "Security Warning" pops up. Unchecking "Always ask before opening this file" before pressing "Run" will stop the popup from showing up in the future.
